Healthcare Automation "Spins Off" Advantage Reimbursement to Increase Market Share

Andover, MA (February 23, 2009) – Healthcare Automation, Inc. (HAI) is pleased to announce that it has created a separate company, Advantage Reimbursement, Inc. (“ARI”), in a ‘spin-off’ transaction to market and service reimbursement services to customers in the home infusion, durable medical equipment (DME) and homecare markets.

“HAI’s reimbursement division had grown to be a significant component of the HAI business and it needs its own identity, separate from the software company.” said Jeanne Lugli, General Manager of ARI. “The business is located in Andover, MA and is led by a management team that has transitioned its expertise beyond HAI’s software. The spin-off made sense from an operating and marketing perspective.”

HAI focuses on its flagship product, HomecareNet and The ARI team has been operating as a separate division of HAI since 1996, serving the home infusion and RT/DME industry. ARI offers a variety of reimbursement services to providers throughout the United States including ongoing billing and collections, collections projects to clean up old A/R and consulting. ARI uses a variety of software across the industry and has produced tremendous results for providers throughout the USA. ARI has the largest team of expert billers, collectors, and specialists in the industry.

Jeanne Lugli developed the business from the ground up. With more than 25 years in the home infusion and RT/DME reimbursement industry, Jeanne and her team offer a wealth of experience and knowledge to ARI clients. Jeanne is a member of the National Home Infusion Association’s Payer Relations Committee and has been a speaker at the NHIA’s annual conference and a contributor to Infusion magazine.
